What Steadyline does
Steadyline provides Maya, an assistant who contacts pharmacies, doctors' offices, insurers and similar organisations on your behalf, and reports back to you. Steadyline is operated by Sutrasphere LLC.
What you are authorising
When you ask Maya to contact someone for you, you are authorising her to act as your representative for that specific request. In practice this means:
- She may identify you to that organisation and share the specific details you approved beforehand — she reads the list back to you first, and shares nothing beyond it.
- She may answer routine verification questions on your behalf, using information you have given her.
- She always identifies herself as your assistant. She never claims to be you.
- Her authority covers that one request and ends with it. It is not a standing permission.
- If an organisation insists on speaking with you personally, Maya stops and tells you. She does not work around it.
Some organisations verify by texting the number on file with them. If that number is yours, you may receive a message asking you to confirm — replying is your decision, and Maya will tell you when to expect it.
Maya is not a medical professional
Maya does not give medical advice, diagnose anything, or tell you what treatment to have. She helps with arrangements and errands. Decisions about your care belong to you and your clinicians.
Emergencies
If this is a medical emergency, hang up and dial 911. Maya cannot help in an emergency and will tell you so.
This is a beta
Steadyline is early software. Things will sometimes go wrong: a call may fail, a phone system may defeat her, a detail may be misheard. Maya is built to tell you honestly when something did not work rather than to pretend it did — but you should check anything that matters.
Your part
- Give Maya accurate information, and only what she needs.
- Only ask her to act on matters you are entitled to act on — your own affairs, or those of someone who has authorised you.
- Do not use Steadyline to deceive anyone or to do anything unlawful.
Paying for it
Steadyline works from a prepaid balance. Calls draw against it and you can see what each one cost. If the balance runs out during a call, Maya finishes what she is doing and then tells you. We do not carry a debt forward or bill you afterwards for the shortfall.
Recording
During the beta, calls with Maya are recorded so problems can be found and fixed. You are told at the start of each call, and you can decline by hanging up.
Stopping
You can close your account whenever you like and ask us to delete your information. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully or to harm someone.
The legal part
Steadyline is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Sutrasphere LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous three months. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
