The short version. We keep as little as we can. What we keep is encrypted with a key unique to you. Maya shares information with a pharmacy or doctor's office only when you have approved that exact list beforehand. We do not sell anything to anyone, ever.
Who we are

What we collect
- What you tell Maya. Your name, date of birth, phone number, the pharmacies and doctors you use, and details about prescriptions or appointments you ask her to handle. Some of this is health information.
- Your calls. During the beta, calls with Maya are recorded so we can find and fix problems. You are told this at the start.
- Account and billing. Your phone number, your balance, and a record of what each call cost. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Google information, only if you connect it. See the section below.
How it is protected
Information about you is encrypted before it is stored, using an encryption key created for you and held in Amazon's key service. Sensitive details are kept only as long as they are useful, and much of what a call produces is discarded automatically rather than retained.
Who it is shared with
- The provider you asked Maya to call — and only the specific items you approved before that call. Maya reads the list back to you first.
- Companies that run parts of the service: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, and the AI that powers Maya's voice), Twilio (phone calls and texts), and Stripe (payments). They act on our instructions.
- Nobody else. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
If you connect a Google account
Connecting Google is optional and you can disconnect at any time. If you do connect it, Maya uses:
- Calendar — to see when you are free and to add appointments she arranges for you.
- Contacts (read only) — to look up the phone number of a provider you ask her to call.
- Drive — limited to files Maya herself creates for you, such as a summary she saves. She cannot see the rest of your Drive.
Google information is used only to do the thing you asked for. It is not used to train any model, and it is not shared beyond the uses described here.
An honest note about health information
During this beta, Steadyline does not operate under a HIPAA business associate agreement. We protect your information carefully, as described above, but you should know that this legal arrangement is not in place yet. Please share only what Maya needs for the task you are asking her to do.
Your choices
- Ask Maya what she has on file for you, at any time.
- Ask us to delete your information — write to [email protected] and we will do it.
- Disconnect Google, or close your account, whenever you want.
Children
Steadyline is for adults. It is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you rather than quietly updating this page.
